Autopilots

An autopilot writes on a rhythm you choose. It is the one part of Brainpercent that can publish without you pressing a button, so you set the limits.

The three kinds

KindWhat it does
Article scheduleWrites an article every few hours or days, from your keywords and your brand, and can publish it.
Post scheduleMakes posts for the channels you pick on the days you pick.
News monitorWrites an article whenever news breaks on a topic you follow, up to a daily cap.

Set one up

  1. Open AutomationsYou find it in the Schedule view. The sheet is titled Automations, with a link to Post schedules and more. In a workspace with none yet, choose Set one up.
  2. Say what you wantYou can also ask the Marketer, for example to turn on a daily article. It shows what it will create and asks Create this automation? Choose Create and turn on.
  3. Read the priceA card asks Turn on this schedule? and says what each run costs. For reference, an article is 1.5 credits and an SEO article with search research is 2.5. The credits are taken when the article is written.
  4. Choose Turn onThe schedule shows On and the time of its next run.

Keep control

  • Publish automatically. Under Edit. When it is off, every article waits for your review. Turn it on only when you trust the output.
  • How often. Every few hours, every day, every few days, every week or a set number of days a week.
  • Publishes to. Your workspace only, or a website you connected.
  • Pause. Stops it until you choose Turn on again. Run now makes one article straight away.
  • Delete. Removes the schedule.

When an article is held back

Every article is checked before it goes out. One that fails waits for you. The schedule shows 1 article waiting for your review with a Review button, and says why. The reasons you may see:

  • The quality score was below the bar.
  • A claim could not be backed by the source.
  • It was shorter than the minimum length.
  • It was not written in the schedule language.
  • That topic was already covered.
  • Its picture could not be made, or its title was not a clear headline.

When a run is skipped

A skipped run is never charged. The schedule tells you which of these happened.

  • The price changed. Check the new price and turn it on again.
  • Your credit balance was too low. Add credits and the next run goes ahead.
  • No new topic was found. Add keywords.
  • The daily spending limit was reached. It tries again at the next run.
  • The last article was still being written, or the updated terms need accepting.

How many your plan allows

The number is per workspace, so ten workspaces each get their own.
