Accessibility Statement

v1.0 · Effective 2026-07-06

1. Our Commitment

Brainpercent, LLC wants everyone to be able to use brainpercent.app, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This is a target we actively work toward, not a certification we hold: the product changes weekly, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a finished checkbox.

This statement describes what we have built so far, where we know we fall short, and how to reach us when something blocks you.

2. Accessibility Features

An accessibility panel is available on every page of the public site. Look for the round blue accessibility button at the edge of the screen. It provides:

  • Text size: scale the entire interface from 80% up to 140% in 10% steps.
  • High contrast mode: increases the color contrast of text and interface borders.
  • Dyslexia-friendly mode: switches the site to the OpenDyslexic typeface with wider letter and word spacing.
  • Saved preferences: your choices are stored in your browser and reapplied on every visit.

The site is available in 13 languages, including full right-to-left layouts for Hebrew and Arabic. We use semantic HTML and provide ARIA labels on interactive controls across the public site, and we keep improving keyboard navigation with every release.

3. Conformance Status

Status: partially conformant. Some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We have not completed an independent third-party audit, and we do not claim formal conformance.

Accessibility issues are triaged like functional bugs: a reported problem that blocks access to a core flow (signing in, creating content, billing) is treated as high priority.

4. Known Limitations

We would rather be honest than impressive. Known limitations as of the effective date of this statement:

  • AI-generated media: images, videos, and audio created by the platform may be produced without alternative text or captions. We are working on automatic alt-text generation, but today it is not guaranteed.
  • Third-party embeds: embedded content such as social media previews, payment forms, and video players is controlled by third parties and may not meet the same standard.
  • Complex editors and charts: some drag-based editors and analytics visualizations in the dashboard are difficult to operate with a keyboard alone. Equivalent data is usually available in text form, and we are extending keyboard support.

5. Feedback and Contact

If you hit a barrier on brainpercent.app, tell us. Email edward@brainpercent.com with subject "Accessibility" and describe the page and the problem; mentioning your assistive technology (screen reader, magnifier, switch device) helps us reproduce the issue. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

This statement is reviewed whenever the product changes materially, and at least once a year.
